During the 24th edition of the TFL (Transport, Forwarding, Logistics) ranking, coordinated by prof. Halina Brdulak of the Warsaw School of Economics, PEKAES once again ranked first among companies that declare road forwarding as their primary source of income. This leading logistics service provider has also been awarded for its revenues from TFL operations in 2018. This year’s survey involved 60 companies.
The organisers of the ranking invited companies whose revenue in 2018 from the primary TFL business made up at least 51 percent of its overall revenue. The revenue from sales of the PEKAES Group in 2018 was over PLN 957 million. Compared to 2017, the growth rate was over 110 percent. The company was also awarded in the list of companies by revenue in the transport and logistics industry.
– I am very pleased with this result because it is the third year running that we earn the first spot as the largest service provider in terms of revenue from sales of road forwarding services. This confirms that PEKAES remains on the path of dynamic growth, focusing on investments in groupage services and intermodal transport. We are on the right path, and we make all efforts to remain the leader in upcoming years – said Maciej Bachman, President of the Management Board of PEKAES.
2019 saw further expansion of the distribution network of PEKAES. By June, this logistics service provider has opened three new terminals in Bydgoszcz, Kielce and Białystok as well as a new Customs Agency in Białystok. The PEKAES Group now has one of the most efficient groupage networks in Poland, including 19 domestic distribution terminals of its own. As part of the distribution of international groupage, the company can offer to deliver goods within Europe owing to permanent cooperation with 17 proven partners in 40 countries.
According to TFL experts, the ranking of TFL companies coordinated by prof. Halina Brdulak of the Warsaw School of Economics, is the most accurate and objective assessment of the market of transport and logistics services in Poland. The partner of the 24th edition of the ranking is the “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” legal newspaper.
